Unveiling of the video documentary ... Now available with English Sub-titles
CCTV Documentary (Chinese Central National TV Station) 2010 - Chinese Living Legend: Master Haikong and his human-centered Buddhism.
Volunteers worked daily these last two months translating and preparing the technology to include English sub-titles so we can all benefit from the lessons and historical viewpoint of how TWDD came about in China and spread to the rest of the world.
Each movie episode is approx. 25 minutes, so get comfortable, grab yourself a tea and enjoy. If you wish, the subtitle transcripts are available, Master Haikong did an amazing job in explaining what is Buddhism, how to practice and what the goals are, etc... in such easy-to-understand language and very straight to the point. (see if you can spot Dustin, Wen and I in the background)

Everyone chippin in!

With our teachers birthday coming soon, volunteers and even "Shifu" (our teacher) have their sleeves rolled up, deep in the creation of bedding supplies and banners for the arrival of hundreds who will show up to help celebrate our great teachers big day. Who will be the lucky ones who have the fortune to receive the blankets Shifu personally sewed? 600 are expected to participate in one of the biggest parties and ritual ceremonies White Tower Temple will host. Check out the images of the preparations for the big day - March 24th! (only this year though - the date changes according to the Lunar Calendar)
